parties, shopping, qt, & baby

if you're not loving that title, i don't know what to tell ya. that just about covers it all.
i'm a weekend behind because life kicked my toosh last week but i'm back.
last weekend, we went to a party to celebrate the engagement of our friends pat and kaitlin.  the wedding is in december where john will be a groomsmen!

curt and cat came to the party too where we took it upon ourselves to take pictures in the street.

unfortunately, i lost my camera immediately following this picture so 1. i didn't get any pictures after this and 2. i got a phone call later last week saying someone found my camera in the yard.  thank heavens!

this past weekend though, john and i went to northern kentucky to hang out with my grandparents.  there's not much better in the world than some quality time with these two little peaches.  they have been married for 56 years (56 years!!) and have created a life i hope to someday have!

we went to dinner at mccormick's & schmick's and it was absolutely delicious! then we walked across to fountain square and they were having a very interesting "gathering" ... apparently we switched the drugs for our grandparents and simply did a walk through the unique people, but not quick enough to forget a picture.

this here is one of my grandmother's paintings in one of the galleries.  she is a wonderful artist and is only growing and getting bigger as time goes on!

yup, beverly erschell!  that's my grandma and that's her painting in the front window of a wonderful gallery in cincinnati!

we spent all day on saturday shopping and our WONDERFUL men were happy to tag along and carry our bags!

on sunday, we went to church and then up to mount adams for lunch.  afterwards, we went to hyde park for the famous graeters ice cream and another photo shoot.  that's my grandpa poppop, me, john, my grandma nanoo, and my aunt viki!

and i'm positive you've been wondering about my precious and perfect nephew.  well colton is absolutely amazing and growing every single day!  can you believe those super model legs??

are weekend with the grandparents the best or whatttt!?
